Hi, we’re Quartiermeister - Germany's first common good certified beer brand and a social business consisting of a GmbH, a volunteer association, and a charitable foundation.
Since 2010, we have been advocating for a fair economy for the benefit of all by supporting social projects with every beer sold.

We're passionate about showing that the economy can be a force for good and not just about maximizing profits and growth. We work transparently and in accordance with the principles of the Economy for Common Good (GWÖ), which values people and nature over profit and competition, and places cooperation at the center.
In 2015, we became the first German beer brand to undergo a Common Good Balance Sheet and we're currently in the process of a Common Good Balancing Process . We also base all our decisions on our six Quartiermeister principles, which we've defined ourselves.

We sell our beer to bars, clubs, festivals, and supermarkets. We use the profits we make to give back to society by supporting social and cultural projects in the regions where we're active. With Quartiermeister, we're showing that an economy based on the common good is possible and benefits everyone, not just a few. To date, we've invested over €250,000 in our support and have funded more than 200 projects.

We love beer and now have no less than eight different varieties to offer, all brewed by two independent and medium-sized breweries according to our own recipes. All the ingredients come exclusively from Germany, and as much as possible from local growing areas.

In addition to the people who work for Quartiermeister GmbH, over 100 volunteers throughout Germany are involved in the Quartiermeister Association (E.V.). Members of association are responsible for promoting Quartiermeister in their respective communities, communicate with the projects they support, and work collectively to promote more vibrant and more diverse neighbourhoods.

The non-profit Quartiermeister Foundation has been in existence since 2021. The Foundation is the sole legal owner of the Quartiermeister brand, ensuring that our mission of selling beer to contribute to the common good is protected forever.
